The AKM54G-ANCNEM00 is a high-performance synchronous servomotor manufactured by Kollmorgen. Offering superior power density, this 9kg device is user-friendly, with plug-and-play motor recognition and full-frequency autotuning. It features an electronically performed commutation, with a rotor length of 4 and flange size of 108mm. The winding type G motor incorporates rotatable angular connectors and is not meant for direct main supply connection. It has a standstill torque of 14.3 Nm, current of 5.0 A and maximum mains voltage of 480 VAC. The torque and voltage constants are 2.88 Nm/A and 185 mV/min, respectively. With inbuilt ball bearings, the motor needs bearing replacements after 20,000 operational hours and checks for bearing noise every 2,500 hours. Ideal coupling for the motor is achievable through backlash-free, frictionally locking couplings or collets that are correctly aligned, reducing risk of damage due to unacceptable vibration.
