The AKM54K-ACCNR-01 is a servomotor produced by Kollmorgen, a member of the AKM series. It operates in unison with a digital SERVOSTAR servoamplifier. The motor utilizes frictionally-locking, backlash-free couplings or collets which must be meticulously aligned to prevent damaging vibrations. The servomotor has a static friction torque of 0.077Nm and demands careful servoamplifier configuration, considering the number of poles present in the motor and resolver. Additionally, the servomotor must avoid axial loads on the shaft to ensure longevity. It is necessary to have proper grounding for the motor, servoamplifier, motor casing, and mounting plate. Importantly, the motor cable must respect the current output rating of the servoamplifier and cross-section according to EN 60204 specifications. Preassembled shielded cables, deliver power and resolver connections and are made of a durable polyurethane sheathing. Finally, in multi-axis systems, separate commissioning of the servomotor and servoamplifier is required.
