The AKM54K-CCCN2-00 Kollmorgen synchronous servomotor is designed for use in drive control systems with digital servo amplifiers. It has a maximum surface temperature of 100°C during operation and requires correct phase connection to avoid runaway conditions. Featuring a torque constant that determines torque at 1 Arms current, it is flange mounted per alternative IEC standards for smooth performance. Easy to commission with plug-and-play recognition, the motor utilizes a 2048 PPR comcoder for feedback and requires safe grounding. Connectors should not be unplugged during operation, and opening for cleaning is not advised. RoHS compliant, it contains no hazardous substances and should be stored in its original packaging. The motor has an increased length due to the comcoder, and residual capacitor charge can pose voltage hazards post power-off. EMC connectors should be shielded at both ends, and axial force should not surpass one-third of the radial force. The motor can reach up to 900 V and ceases rotation if the setpoint lead is interrupted.
