The Kollmorgen AKM63K-ANC2R-00 is a high-performance synchronous servomotor from the AKM series, optimized for positioning tasks in industrial robots, machine tools, and transfer lines. Its design boasts a neodymium-iron-boron magnet-powered rotor and a three-phase winding within the stator, achieving dynamic motor operation. An additional feature is its 24V DC spring-applied brake that effectively locks the rotor in place when de-energized. The brake, however, is not for repeated operational use. The motor possesses a rotatable angular connector, a smooth shaft, and an in-built Resolver feedback unit. Its flange measures 138 mm and it has a rotor length of 3 with a K type winding. Proper handling is essential as the flange and shaft can be easily damaged. The Recommended way of fastening drive components is through heating and careful coupling. The device can suffer potential damage from improper settings in the number of motor poles and resolver poles.
