The Kollmorgen B-206-B-22-S-258 is a compactly-built servo motor designed for optimal performance in dynamic environments. Specific to industries such as automotive, printing, textile, woodworking, oil & gas, and metal machining, it excels in accurate speed and position control when facing rapidly changing load conditions. Capable of torque control, the servo motor's high torque-to-volume ratio allows constant torque levels, even at increased speeds. Its low moment of inertia design ensures instant response to acceleration and deceleration. Add-ons such as front-mounted gearheads and fail-safe brakes enhance operational safety. In compliance with IP 67 ingress protection standards, the motor is resistant to dust, oil, and water jets, and can tolerate short-term submersion. Running at a top speed of 2800 rpm and acceleration of 79300 rad/sec2, it is insulated with class H materials to withstand temperatures up to 180°C.
