The B-402-B-A1 is a low inertia, brushless B series servomotor produced by Kollmorgen. Housed in a 4-sized square frame, it features screw thread connectors, supports standard metric mounting, and includes a rear shaft extension. With a peak line current rating of 18.8A, it can rapidly accelerate or decelerate as required, making it ideal for applications requiring prompt response. This motor works optimally with Kollmorgen's SERVOSTAR digital amplifier, which uses phase angle advance algorithms to provide protection against motor over-temperature. The motor assembly has a UL recognition and Class H insulation. Additional features include a built-in thermostat and a frameless resolver facilitating motor commutation. Performance can be monitored using the digital oscilloscope functionality in MOTIONLINK software, which also helps set speed restrictions. Shipment is available globally via our logistics network.
