The Beckhoff BC8000 module from the BC Bus Terminals series supports up to 64 bus terminals and manages 256 digital inputs and outputs as well as 128 analog inputs and outputs, handling 512 peripheral bytes bidirectionally. It operates on a 24 V (-15%/+20%, EN 61131) power supply with an input current of 70 mA + (total K-bus current)/4; max 500 mA and can sustain a 10 A power contact current drawn. Featuring IP20 protection and 2.5 × steady operating current power-on surge tolerance, it uses a 9-pin D-sub plug connector and functions in temperatures from 0 °C … +55 °C (operating) and -25 °C … +85 °C (storage). Ideal for robust industrial automation installations.
