Protective and abnormality detecting functions include ground fault, overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, overtemperature, and communication fault detection, all monitored continuously with status display via LED indicators. The unit also incorporates a discharge circuit capacity of 80 W (BL II-D PD1) and an optional resistor unit installation capacity of 320 W for 15–100 kW models and 480 W for larger units, providing effective energy dissipation during braking and fault conditions.
