Memory is handled by a single SO-DIMM200 slot, accommodating Up to 2 GByte of DDR2-533 RAM for responsive multitasking and embedded workloads. With an IDE Interface via a standard 1x IDE connector and legacy PS/2 keyboard/mouse support, the CB3053-00 balances modern performance with broad peripheral compatibility.

Performance is optimized through a wide Power Supply range of 20V–30V, nominally 24V, ensuring stable operation in variable power environments. Dual COM ports (COM1, COM2) deliver reliable serial communication for field devices, while eight USB 2.0 ports provide extensive peripheral connectivity without additional hubs. Expandability is enabled by an integrated mPCI connector exposing a native PCI Bus, allowing users to install wireless modules or custom I/O cards. The board’s network interface and display subsystem leverage standard DVI and LVDS interfaces (external to the PCB), while the embedded graphics adapter offloads basic 2D rendering tasks. Passive cooling on Intel’s Menlow® platform minimizes thermal output, eliminating the need for fans and reducing maintenance points in continuous operation.
