The CE20560, a Series 5 Servostar drive amplifier by Kollmorgen, is designed for various applications including machine tooling, electronic assembly, document handling, and packaging. Housed in a compact design for space efficiency, it operates on Motionlink software on a Windows PC through serial or SERCOS communication links. It utilizes an encoder for feedback with a fixed resolution system, which operates on a 5V DC power supply and accepts a maximum input frequency up to 12 megahertz. Other features include a wire detection system, illegal hall code detection, and a separate voltage regulator. The output current is rated at 20 Amps with a 24V external power supply for logic. Control interface is analog and has an additional I/O, software resolver, and encoder simulation.
