It requires a horizontal positioning inside a control cabinet, ideally away from any noise sources. The controller consumes 20W of power, functioning efficiently at a DC supply voltage of 24V with a ±20% tolerance range. To safeguard data, a 3V lithium-based SRAM memory is incorporated, which on average, lasts for at least five years. Communication at various levels is facilitated by a built-in PROFIBUS interface, and the unit possesses 4GB of integrated DRAM memory. Firmware requirements are to be procured independently. However, due to its IP20 protection standard, the controller is not water-resistant, highlighting the need for cabinet installation. The model allows for functional grounding via an undersituated screw and provides an optional serial and Ethernet interface, resistant to 15g shocks according to EN 60068-2-27. It operates optimally within 5-95% relative humidity.
