The Kollmorgen CR03560 digital current-loop motor driver from the CD Servostar CD Drives series by Kollmorgen delivers precise control with fully digital current and velocity loop control. It accepts a ±10 V analog input and operates at a PWM switching frequency up to 16 kHz. With continuous current rating of ~6 A, it supports OPMODE 1 (Analog Velocity) and OPMODE 3 (Analog Torque). Feedback includes incremental encoder (A/B + index, Hall) and resolver inputs. Configuration is via RS-232 using MOTIONLINK® software (v4.4.3) with optional personality module, while built-in protection features cover over-current, voltage, thermal, and current foldback. Operating from 0°C to 45°C and up to 95% non-condensing humidity, it optionally uses 24 VDC logic supply.
