The Bosch Rexroth Indramat's advanced control section, model CSH01.1C-NN-EN1-MEM-MA1-S1-S-NN-FW, provides connectivity to an RS 232 serial interface through an eight-pole circular X2 connector, using pins 2 and 5 for data transmission and reception. The device has two power connectors and requires an independent power supply for its isolated inputs/outputs. It consumes 7.5W at 24VDC. Connection points consist of screw terminal blocks and spring terminals, but avoid using solid wires for the latter. The product supports several safety functions such as drive interlock, standstill, reduced speed, and direction of motion, in conjunction with an encoder. Designed to be stored in conductive packaging, it can be prone to damage from repeated mounting and dismounting. With an inrush current of 4A and two current control cycle times, the device can be customized as per user requirements. Its associated control panel uses 1W power. Delivery is in military-grade packaging to prevent damage.
