The Bosch Rexroth Indramat CSH01.1C-NN-ENS-MEM-MD1-S2-S-NN-FW is a modular control section, permitting customizable hardware and software to meet specific customer needs. The control section's functionality is dictated by its firmware and the series of features it supports, all specifically developed by Bosch for this product. The hardware can be adjusted, with four slots available to house various modules. A safety module, which facilitates safe motion, is installed, leaving three extra slots for other modules such as an encoder emulation module, a digital I/O extension module and an IndraDyn encoder module with Hiperface support. Despite its numerous integrated I/Os, only a standard control panel can be used for configuration. It is also important to note that this device is mostly provided as a component of an assembled IndraDrive controller, though it can be bought separately in special situations. However, the control and power sections in any drive controller can only be assembled together 20 times to prevent hardware damage.
