Moreover, due to its advanced features and safety technology, this module is often employed in robotics. For optimal operation, the unit must be installed professionally in temperatures ranging between 0 to 40 degrees Centigrade and preconfiguration is necessary prior to installation or operation. Manufactured to the highest of standards, it supports multiple motor encoder interfaces including Hiperface, 1 Vpp, and TTL and employs the high-speed SERCOS III interface for communication. Equipped with a digital I/O extension and several auxiliary I/O ports, it also integrates safety technology and designates the X41/X42 connection point for safety related peripheral connections.
