The CSH02.1B-CC-EC-EC-NN-EC-NN-FW is an advanced single-axis control section employed by Bosch Rexroth Indramat. It comes with multi-encoder modules for use with motor encoders, operating off a 5/12 Volt supply. The control section is compatible with various types of encoders, including MSK and MSM motor encoders and sin-cos encoders with Hiperface and EnDat 2.1 interfaces. The device does not include a safety module, but operators have the option to purchase and install one separately. Communication is supported by SERCOS III, a high-speed interface which uses standard Ethernet twisted-pair cables, handling speeds upto 100mbps. It also allows for full-duplex transmission and compatibility with different network topologies. Notably, this control section does not provide firmware, which must be ordered separately. The firmware version can be identified from the firmware type plate attached to the unit.
