The CU1521-0010 is an EtherCAT media converter from Beckhoff's CU EtherCAT Junctions series that enables conversion between RJ45 copper and single-mode fiber optics. Featuring a Bus Interface with one SC Duplex and one RJ45, it supports a 100 Mbit/s data rate over shielded Cat5 cable to 100 m (100BASE-TX). Powered by 24 V DC (18-30 V) via a 3-pin connection, it delivers low latency (~1 µs) and includes Link Loss Forwarding. With IP20 protection, compliance to EN 61000-6-2/6-4, and an operating range of 0...+55 °C, it is ideal for industrial networks.
