The CU8803-0000-1900 by Beckhoff represents the latest addition to the CU EtherCAT Junctions series, delivering a robust CP-Link 4 Extender Transmitter solution for industrial automation. Housed in a durable metal enclosure with DIN rail mounting capability, this module measures 70×100×80 mm and weighs in at a compact footprint. It operates over a temperature range of 0 to +55 °C and features an IP20 protection rating to safeguard against large solid particles. Engineered for safe operation in hazardous environments, it carries ATEX, IECEx, and CE approvals and meets the II 3D Ex tc IIIC T135 °C Dc ATEX rating.

Technical capabilities of the CU8803-0000-1900 extend to high-speed data and video transmission using USB 2.0 (100 Mbit/s) and DVI signals over a single Cat.6A cable. The module’s USB interface includes one USB-B port supporting up to 1 m cable length, while its DVI interface provides one DVI-D port with a 1 m connector cable. Data and video are transmitted concurrently through the CP-Link 4 output via one RJ45 connector, enabling distances of up to 100 m. Power delivery to the connected Control Panel is supplied over the same Cat.6A link, simplifying wiring to a single-cable solution. The device’s internal circuitry is optimized for reliable 24 V DC operation under varying loads.

The metal housing ensures mechanical stability and resistance to impact, while the integrated DIN rail mount enables quick snap-in installation.
