The Beckhoff CX5020-0100 is a part of the CX5000 series of embedded PCs, powered by a 1.6GHz Intel Atom® Z530 processor with a single core and hyperthreading technology. It includes an E-bus interface for EtherCAT terminals and 512MB of expandable RAM. There’s a slot for a compact flash card, a 1-second UPS integrated into the flashcard, and various interfaces including two RJ45 ports, four USB 2.0 ports, and a DVI-D port. Unfortunately, it is not compatible with Windows OS or TwinCAT control software. The device is UL Listed and CE Certified, with an IP 20 protection class, and can operate between -25°C and +60°C with up to 95% humidity. LEDs provide diagnostic information. Additionally, it supports PROFIBUS and CANopen master and slave interfaces. Note, this unit should be installed in control cabinets and acclimate to room temperature before operation.
