The Beckhoff CX5020-0121 stands as a robust industrial PC, optimized for PLC and motion control tasks. Powered by an Intel Atom® Z530 processor with a 1.6 GHz clock frequency, its efficient power consumption allows for a compact build. With hyper-threading technology, two virtual cores run software efficiently. Crafted from lightweight, structurally-sound magnesium, this device operates on a 24 V DC power supply. It houses a built-in 512 MB memory, extendable to 1 GB, while also allowing for use of flash memory via a Compact Flash slot. It features a Windows Embedded Standard 2009 operating system and a TwinCAT 2 PLC runtime environment. Boasting IP 20 grade protection, this PC is safeguarded against solid objects up to 12mm, while its minimal form factor (100 x 106 x 92 mm) and lightweight design (around 575g) enhances ease-of-use.
