The Beckhoff CX5020-0111 is an advanced embedded PC designed for efficient, industrial automation. Operating on a 1.6GHz Intel Atom® Z530 single-core processor, this device offers dual virtual CPU cores for superior processing performance. It features compatibility with both Windows Embedded CE 6 operating system and TwinCAT 2 PLC runtime software. The PC is equipped with a timekeeping internal clock with battery backup, and meets the EN 60068-2-6 specifications for vibration resistance. The PC provides several interfaces including a 9-pin D-sub plug RS232, as well as Ethernet PROFINET RT device and controller interfaces. It includes an E-bus I/O connection, IP20 protection, and LED diagnostics. The power requirements include a current supply of 2A and a power supply of 24VDC. To ensure longevity, the system’s battery and compact flash card should be replaced every five years. The manufacturer's CF cards are recommended for optimal read/write cycle performance. Care should be taken to prevent mechanical damage during transport. Installation is easy, featuring a simple snap-on mechanism onto a mounting rail.
