The Beckhoff CX5120-0121 is a high-performance embedded PC system, powered by an Intel Atom® E3815, 1.46 GHz processor. Although it has a small footprint, its capabilities are wide-ranging and formidable, designed for robust and flexible performance in CNC machines, machine construction, and plant engineering applications. Without the need for a fan, it consumes a maximum of 11W, or 18W with a UPS, and runs on a 24DC power supply. Designed for versatility, the system features multiple connection interfaces including 2 x RJ45 10/100/1000 Mbit/s, 1 x DVI-I, 4 x USB 2.0 and 1 x optional interface. Furthermore, it supports optional master/slave Fieldbus connections and EtherCAT terminals. The IPC offers 2GB DDR3 RAM storage, with flash memory supported through CFast and microSD card slots. Despite its sophisticated capabilities, its firm construction allows operation within a vast temperature range (-25°C to 60°C), ensuring reliability in harsh conditions.
