The CX5130-0122 is an embedded PC designed by Beckhoff Automation for use as a control system. Part of their CX5130 series, this device includes diagnostic LEDs that display status for power, bus, TC and flash access. It accommodates both a microSD card slot and a CFast card slot for purposeful expansion, while the power supply cables should only be connected while de-energized to prevent damage. Operational controls call for a 24V DC power source with a maximum of 4A fuse for electrical safety, and full system configuration prior to starting. This device runs on a Windows Embedded Standard 7 P 32-bit OS and features the TwinCAT 2 NC PTP control software that should be properly shut down prior to device turn off. Environmentally, it requires an IP20-rated workspace to guard against certain foreign objects and should be stored in a temperature-controlled space. Its high performance is powered by an Intel Atom® dual-core processor and a solid 4GB DDR3 RAM capacity.
