Beckhoff's CX5130-0141 is a compact industrial PC module from the popular CX5100 series. As part of the rapidly advancing PLC automation industry, this PC offers high processing speeds and effective controls for PLC/Motion & Logic tasks. The heart of the system is an Intel Atom® E3827 dual-core processor, running at 1.75 GHz, supported by a 4 GB DDR3 RAM. The embedded system utilises the Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 2016 LTSB 32 Bit operating system and TwinCAT 2 PLC runtime control software. Connectivity is no issue with two independent Ethernet interfaces, four USB 2.0 slots, a DVI-I terminal and an optional interface for custom gateway functions. The module is energy-thrifty with a max power consumption of 14W from a 24V DC supply, and it operates between -25°C and 60°C, with storage capabilities from -40°C to 85°C. Meeting ATEX, UL, IECEx, and CE standards, this innovative PC unit can be applied virtually anywhere.
