The Beckhoff Automation GmbH's CX5140-0100 is a fanless embedded PC ideal for control systems. Its quad-core processors register a clock frequency of 1.9GHz. The PC is exclusively operated in environments meeting IP20 protection requirements, making it suitably placed in a terminal box or control cabinet mountable on a DIN rail. Notably, it does not run any operating system or support TwinCAT runtime environments and lacks extension module support. It comes with two independent Ethernet interfaces with gigabit capacity, an optional interface for gateway functions, and connections are anchored securely in place. Plus, it has a compact design with an in-built 4GB RAM, slots for microSD and CFast cards, and E-bus or K-bus I/O connections. Its operating temperature range is 0°C to +60°C. This UL Listed, CE Certified device can be shipped globally.
