The Beckhoff CX5140-0111 is an embedded PC control system that is powered by a quad-core Intel Atom processor running at 1.9GHz. It features the Windows Embedded Compact 7 operating system and is compatible with the TwinCAT 2 PLC runtime environment. This standalone, compact-size device features a low power fanless design and does not have support for extension modules. The CX5140-0111 is designed for executing motion control applications with interpolating axis movements. Adherence to EN 60068-2-27 specifications ensures vibration resistance while the maximum relative humidity threshold is 95%. The front flap provides slots for microSD and industrial CFast cards. The power supply terminal has bus system auto-recognition, and four USB ports allow for versatile connectivity. The Ethernet ports and DVI-I interface are geared for high-speed data transfer, and display resolution can reach up to 2560 x 1440 depending on monitor and cable quality. The system is CE Certified and cULus Listed.
