The CX8050 Controller, equipped with a CANopen master interface, can serve as CANopen master or support CAN-Layer-2 communication. Primarily programmed through an Ethernet interface, it detects connected systems automatically at startup. It has a basic 512 MB MicroSD card that is expandable to 8 GB with manufacturer-approved cards. The controller is coded as per IEC 61131-3 standards using TwinCAT software, which allows access to TwinCAT tools including System Manager, PLC Programming interface, and TwinCAT Scope. Installation should consider temperatures at cable entry points, requiring high-temperature cables if above 70°C during regular operations or 80°C at wire branching points. The installation needs personnel skilled in Embedded PC and network administration, with solid understanding of control programming. RJ45 connectors should have an intact latch, and screws in the FIELDBUS plug connectors should be adequately tightened.
