The Beckhoff CX8093 is an embedded PC specifically designed for PROFINET, with connectivity capabilities for E/K-bus terminals. Equipped with an automated detection system, the control system identifies the type of terminal at start-up. Programming can be executed either via the fieldbus or Ethernet interface in alignment with the IEC 61131-3 standard, offering notable performance. It uses Microsoft Windows CE as its operating system and is fitted with a capacitive 1-second UPS to safeguard persistent data during a power outage. Connection interfaces include a USB device, RJ45 Ethernet, and RJ45 switched. Its power specifications include maximum power loss of 3W, a supply of 2A and a 24VDC power supply. With a protection category of IP 20, installation in a control cabinet to protection class IP 54, and mounting on horizontal DIN rails is advised. Proper installation and operation require control and automation engineering expertise.
