The CX9010-0101 from Beckhoff features an Intel IXP420 XScale CPU and a 533 MHz clock. Part of the CX Embedded PC Systems, it has 32 MB Flash and 128 MB RAM. The device runs Windows CE 5 and supports TwinCAT-CE PLC and NC/PTP runtimes.

It measures 59 × 100 × 91 mm, weighs 250 g and offers IP20 protection. It provides two 10/100 Mbit/s RJ45 Ethernet ports and E-bus for EtherCAT. A battery-backed clock and diagnostic LEDs ensure reliable industrial use.
