Its role is to deliver electric power to one or more loads, operating through three-phases of input AC to output DC voltage. The power supply comprises four key components, sequentially connected: a transformer, a rectifier, a filter, and finally a regulator. The transformer adjusts the AC signal to the necessary DC level for output and functions as an isolator. The rectifier uses this output signal to deliver a pulsating, rectified DC signal. Its filter, a fully-equipped capacitor, then minimizes AC variation. The final stage is the regulator that produces a smooth DC output signal while maintaining a constant output voltage to accommodate any variations in input load or voltage.
