The DDS02.1-A150-DS54-00-FW, created by Bosch Rexroth Indramat, is an innovative DDS drive controller. Its modular setup, paired with AC servo and primary drives, enables the creation of a compact drive package. The customizable design of this controller allows it to adapt to a range of applications, including machine tools, textile machinery, printing, packaging, and robotic handling. It employs a SERCOS interface, which ensures compatibility with related controls and facilitates efficient communication between control and drive systems via fiber-optic cables. The controller contains five slots for optional modules, which can be configured to perform multiple functions. With a peak current of 150 A, maximum power dissipation of 120 Watts, and a DC 300 V bus voltage, it is a superb option. Its design allows heat dissipation outside its casing, allowing it to work efficiently even in small cabinets. The firmware, controlling the device's function, is sold separately. It should only be handled by suitably trained staff, and kept away from certain high-frequency equipment for safety.
