Bosch Rexroth's DDS02.1-A200-DS03-02-FW is a robust drive controller constructed for diverse industrial applications, including machine tools, robotics, textile, and printing machines. Carefully configured to deliver high operational reliability, this controller needs to be augmented with a separate firmware module, the DSM02.1, which houses the system’s operational parameters and software. The DSM module fits into the U5 slot of the basic unit. The controller facilitates data sharing via its SERCOS interface, includes digital servo feedback for indirect position detection, and is optimized for a continuous 200 A current and a 24 VDC rated input voltage. With an RS232 serial interface, the controller can connect to PC's, VT terminals, or output devices. Suitable for operation in ambient temperature ranges of 0 to +45 degrees Celsius without rated data reduction, the controller can handle storage and transport temperatures of -30 to +85 degrees Celsius. Capped at 1000 m above sea level for optimal installation height, it requires vertical installation in a switchgear cabinet with a blower unit is secured under IP20 protection.
