The DDS02.1-W015-DS04-03-FW, produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat, is a versatile, modular drive controller with five slots, three of which can be customized with specific modules to meet various application requirements. Two slots are reserved for the software and command communication modules. Its function includes storage of firmware and operating parameters, and its software module can copy and install onto other drives, thus expediting the commissioning process. The DDS drive pairs well with MDD servo motors, making these suitable for tasks such as robotics, packaging machines, and handling systems. This drive yields high-resolution measurements of motor rotor positions, has an in-built signal processor for control and diagnostics, and features an RS-232 interface as well as a SERCOS-enabled command module. It offers a 15 Amps rated current and supports digital servo feedback. Firmware must be ordered separately.
