Bosch Rexroth Indramat produces the DDS02.1-W025-DS04-00 drive controller. The device, designed for optimal operation in textile, packaging, and printing machinery, is installed after removal of its faceplate, which should be replaced post-mounting. It's intended for storage, without shock or dust exposure, in environments between -30°C and 85°C. If required, the controller can be moved using shock-absorbing supports but must remain in an upright position and not be dropped. The controller uses a 04 function ID code, and should remain dry, with a maximum relative air humidity of 95%. Using fibre optic cables, its SERCOS interface facilitates communication between the drive and control, and it can be adjacent to another controller via the DC bus rails. It weighs about 7.5kg, and complies with DIN 40 050 specifications for IP 10 protection rating, allowing safe mounting with adequate protection against solid objects larger than 50mm in diameter.
