The DDS02.1-W050-DL04-01-FW, a single-axis positioning drive controller, is a version 1 model from the DDS series by Bosch Rexroth Indramat. Designed for optimal industrial use, it functions with digital AC motors such as MDD, MKD, and LAR. Operating with a current rating of 50 A and a DC bus voltage of 300V with an allowance reserved at +/- 10%, it uses digital servo feedback for motor feedback. A plugin versatile communication module permits the creation of a custom single-axis positioning unit, programmable with up to 3000 blocks, with each block indicating a motion sequence or a specific input/output state. The controller’s firmware, purchased separately, periodically receives updates to bolster performance without affecting base functionality. It utilizes heat technology for cooling within its control cabinet that also offers IP 10 protection. In accordance with EN 60529 standards, its IP 20 rating shields it from objects larger than 12 mm in diameter.
