The DDS02.1-W050-DS01-00 is a digital drive controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat. It is ideal for applications including packaging, textile, grinding, and woodworking machines, as well as robots and printing machines. Its microprocessor-controlled operation ensures precise and dynamic response. The controller employs a modular architecture and supports multiple communication modules, specifically a SERCOS communication module. It operates at a rated current output of 50 amps and utilizes a digital servo feedback system for efficient motor performance. The controller comprises slots for software and command communication modules, stored at U5 and U1 respectively. Additional module slots and interfaces, such as RS-232 for PC connections, are found on the front panel. These interfaces facilitate motor feedback, motor temperature monitoring, connection to the DC link circuit and motor holding brake. The device is air-cooled and features a two-digit LED status display for easy monitoring of alarms and status. A fault reset button is also provided.
