The DDS02.1-W050-DS04-03-FW drive controller is a high-quality, second series product developed by Bosch Rexroth Indramat. Unique to this series is the modular design, enabling versatility in features across different units. The product boasts a SERCOS interface for operation via a fiber optic cable, assessing travel range limit, reference switches, sensor inputs, and a high-resolution position interface for transmitting sinusoidal signals to an external scale attached to the moving machine component. It is characterized by a 50A average rated current and utilizes internal air-cooling for heat dissipation, hence adequate installation space or an air-conditioning system is required. Critically, it uses digital servo feedback and requires separately acquired firmware. Its efficient performance and reliability are key attributes.
