The Bosch Rexroth Indramat DDS02.1-W050-DS30-00, part of the DDS2.1 series, is a digital drive controller equipped with a SERCOS communication interface. It's designed for use in various industrial applications such as CNC machine tool axes, robotics, and printing machines among others. Using a signal processor, it performs control, monitoring, and diagnostic duties, providing high-resolution rotor position measurements across the full speed range. With data exchange via fiber-optic cables, it can function in torque loop, position loop, and velocity loop modes. Additionally, it simplifies NC controls and provides high-speed resolution up to 0.0001 RPM. This model includes five slots in its basic unit—three for plug-in modules, one for a software module and one for commands. With a rated output of 50 Amps, it supports digital servo feedback and convection cooling. To ensure optimal performance, it should be installed in a spacious cabinet with adequate airflow, separate from heat-producing devices. Air conditioning might be necessary to regulate the internal temperature.
