The Bosch Rexroth Indramat DDS02.2-W015-BE30-01-FW is a dynamic digital drive controller belonging to the DDS02.2 series. It features a modular construction with mandatory software and command modules in addition to three slots for optional components, making the controller adaptable for diverse applications. Its command module operates under the SERCOS fiber-optic standards, capable of real-time communication with compatible devices at speeds up to 100 Mbps in more advanced versions. Firmware for this controller is stored separately, which, in addition to programmed drive parameters, is situated on the software module for easy transport to another drive in case of malfunction. Able to handle 15 Amps of output and both digital servo and resolver feedbacks, it necessitates spacious cabinets due to internal heat dissipation. It connects with an array of Bosch motors like the MDD, MKD, and 1MB models and should only be installed by trained professionals.
