The DDS02.2-W050-BE05-01-FW, a DDS02.2 series drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat, is engineered to adapt to an array of customer needs thanks to its optional hardware modules. Ideal for use in approved applications such as textile, packaging, and printing machines, it operates optimally in conditions between 0-45 degrees Celsius, at elevations of 0-1000 meters and with a relative humidity of up to 95%. The controller, rated for 50 Amps, supports two motor feedback methods - resolver feedback and digital servo feedback. It dissipates heat internally, although versions with heat sinking capabilities for external heat dispersion are also available. Allotted with a fixed function ID and version ID determined by Bosch, it is equipped with a SERCOS module facilitating communication with SERCOS-enabled devices via fiber optics. The required firmware for the controller, including configured drive parameters, is managed separately on a software module, easing system reinstatement following faults. Qualified personnel are required for installation and troubleshooting activities.
