The DDS02.2-W050-BE75-02-FW is a drive controller designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat. As a member of the DDS product line, it primarily dissipates heat within the cabinet which mandates the usage of large cabinets or air conditioning units. It operates optimally between 0 and 45 degrees Celsius, and although it can tolerate temperatures up to 55 degrees Celsius, performance may degrade beyond 45 degrees. Exceeding 55 degrees Celsius is not advised. The controller is suitable for altitudes up to 1000 meters, with decreasing performance beyond that, and non-operational above 5000 meters. The device has a rated output of 50 Amps and supports both digital servo and resolver-based feedback. The 24-volt DC input drive controller necessitates a regulated DC power supply. With a weight of around 7.5 kilograms, the controller's dimensions are 355 x 105 x 325 millimeters and demands free space of 40 millimeters front and 80 millimeters on top and bottom for heat regulation.
