The DDS03.1-W050-DS12-01, made by Bosch Rexroth Indramat, is a high-efficiency, modular motor controller designed for precision control of industrial synchronous and induction motors within servo systems. Engineered for optimal performance, this controller offers IP20-class protection, guarding against solid intrusions larger than 12 millimeters. To maximize operational safety, specially-trained engineers familiar with the product should exclusively handle this device, using the manufacturer-supplied documentation. Delivered fully installed, the controller includes an integrated configuration module with slots U1 to U5, and connects to motors via two separate cables for power and motor feedback, minimizing electrical interference. Its inbuilt air blower and heatsink, through forced ventilation, keep heat levels in permissible range. To prevent accidents from leakage current, grounding the controller prior to operation is mandatory.
