The Bosch Rexroth Indramat's DDS03.1-W050-RS01-02 is a basic unit for the DDS series of controllers. This modular unit can be adjusted by installing plug-in modules. It comprises a basic unit, software module, controller firmware and optional plug-in modules. The unit features five slots for these modules which include a mandatory software and command communication module. The DDS03.1-W050-RS01-02 supports a SERCOS command module providing communication at 2 / 4 Mbps. It uses heat technology for cooling with an airflow system that introduces cool air through the bottom and releases heat through the top. Recommended spacing is 40mm at the front and 80mm on the top and bottom for proper ventilation. The unit measures 355 x 325 x 70 mm with an approximate weight of 5.5 kg. It also features a resolver feedback motor method and an output current of 50 Amps. Lastly, it has an IP20 protection rating and should only be handled by trained personnel.
