The DDS03.2-W015-BE41-01-FW is a digital controller from the DDS series produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat. This modular, slot-based device allows customization by enabling selection of specific hardware and software according to user needs. Firmware, which must be ordered separately, with various drive parameters can be stored in a software module that fits into Slot U5 on the controller's basic unit. The controller also comes with a type plate, listing all crucial specifications for user reference. The unit can withstand ambient temperatures between -30 to 85°C while inactive, and can function between 0 to 45°C, with a peak of 55°C under derated data. Rated output is 15 Amps and it supports a SERCOS interface command module and two types of motor feedback: digital servo and resolver. This 5.5 kg controller emits heat within the cabinet, thus suggesting the use of a large cabinet or air conditioning, and has an IP20 ingress protection rating.
