The Kollmorgen Digital MMC-D4 drive from the MMC Standalone Smart Drives series is an Industrial smart drive powered by a 32-bit RISC CPU with numeric coprocessor and equipped with 1 MB memory plus a 2 MB flash disk for firmware updates and data logging. It supports sourcing-only IEC Type 1 DC inputs at 24 VDC nominal (30 VDC max) and offers 8 DC outputs at the same voltage with 0.25 A max current per channel. Connectivity options include an RS232 secured port (up to 115200 baud), an RS232/RS485 user port with RTS/CTS hardware handshaking, and a 10/100Base-TX half-duplex Ethernet interface. A 3 V BR2032 lithium coin cell battery ensures time-of-day clock accuracy and data retention during power interruptions, making this smart drive ideal for reliable industrial automation applications.
