The DM 15K 3301-D by Bosch Rexroth Indramat is a sophisticated three-phase current module designed to support spindle motors and inverters. Suitable for asynchronous and synchronous motors, it optimizes performance through DC linking and control cable connections. Motor module sizing should consider rated current, peak current, and operating frequency. The module accommodates ambient temperatures of 0°C to 45°C, with automatic current limiting for thermal protection. It features a maximum current rating of 15-18arms and operates with a DC link voltage of 670VDC regulated and 715 VDC unregulated. Switching occurs at 8 kHz, with a resolution frequency of up to 800Hz at 400V. Its 20-bit single encoder can upgrade to a 32-bit multi-turn encoder with a 12-bit resolver. The module, weighing 6.0kg and measuring 50mm in width, requires installation below 1000 meters altitude, a working power demand of 0.89A, and adheres to IP 54 protection standards against contaminants.
