The Okuma E0105-566-055-3 is a high-performance operator control panel in the E5 Operator Panels series designed for precise CNC machine interfacing. Manufactured by Okuma, this control unit supports the primary function of manual and automated machining operations with robust reliability. Featuring dual Feed Rate Override (0–200%) knobs and a Manual Pulse Generator (Pulse Handle (MPG)) for accurate axis movement, it offers exceptional control. The panel supports multi-axis operation on the X, Z axes and provides a Jog Increment Selector (×1, ×10, ×50, ×100) to fine-tune positioning.

Built for industrial automation, the E0105-566-055-3 communicates via EtherCAT to ensure seamless integration with modern CNC systems. Operating in both Manual and Automated control modes, it includes slide jog buttons for directional control and an Axis Selector switch for X and Z. The front panel incorporates essential functions such as Cycle Start, Emergency Stop, Control On/Off, Reset, and spindle control modes (CW/CCW/Stop) with spindle jog capability. The panel’s dimensions of 250 × 80 × 300 mm and integrated fan cooling maintain optimal thermal performance. Dry Run, Single Block, Optional Stop, and M-Code Hold modes enhance programming flexibility and safety.

On the rear, multiple DB connectors, ribbon cable ports, and a multi-pin power connector offer comprehensive connectivity. Supported features include Coolant On/Off control, slide Hold functions, machine lock, door interlock, and IO panel lock for enhanced safety.
