The E0227-702-004 Bubble Memory Card is a vintage 2Mbit product manufactured by Okuma. It uses a non-volatile computer memory system that relies on tiny magnetized areas, known as "bubbles" or domains, in a thin magnetic film. Each bubble stores one bit of data, making it similar to delay line memory systems. Developed as part of the Opus 5000 range in 1967, this card weighs around 1lb and measures 11 by 6 by 1 inch. While not widely used in modern systems, it allows data storage that persists even when the computer is off. The card features orthogonal coils situated beneath the magnetic plate surface, connected to a user system that includes diode arrays, coil drivers, a sense amplifier, and a controller. Notably, these components are also linked to the bubble chip which incorporates chevron propagation elements, a Ni-Fe guide, a bubble domain, and a non-magnetic substrate.

Testimonials

We used Servo Supplier to refurbish old drives and buy reconditioned parts. We received great and timely service at a fair price. I recommend them to anyone who has aging equipment and can't find support from their OEMs. Highly recommend.

Bostik Inc.

WE absolutely LOVE Servo Supplier. They are quick, efficient and friendly. Honest too, which is huge in our industry. We deal with many different companies, and these guys are tops in our humble opinion. There has never been an issue with delivery, no warranties, no hidden fees, no surprises. Just what you want in the manufacturing business. Smooth, and we love smooth.

Technomech Inc

First-time customer. The ordering process was completely seamless. The part that we ordered was at our business within 2 days. Which was excellent! We had a piece of equipment down for a little more than 48 hours. Could have been a lot longer had we purchased from one of our normal suppliers.

Steve T. from NF&M International

I found these guys online and needed a somewhat obscure part quickly, and they delivered! Very quick process from the time I requested a quote to the shipping of my items. Great work Servo Supplier team!
