Okuma's E4809-436-016 is a high-quality timing clock that can produce frequencies from 1560 kHz to 1 GHz. It utilizes an external reference, an onboard 1 ppm oscillator and GPS for precision. Included is a programmable PLL circuit that ensures low noise clocks featuring 0.2 ps RMS jitter. It outputs clocks level aligned to 100 ps and each outputting clock is a 1-80 fraction of either the external clock or the PLL.
An optional GPS receiver featuring noise reduction and stability can be attached. The receiver has been optimized for maximum time stability and sensitivity, requiring only one satellite tracking and 186 dB power for indoor usage in most conditions. The device includes software components compatible with both Linux and Windows for control of its timing functionalities.
The E4809-436-016's configurations can be stored on an inbuilt memory chip for immediate use. It is a versatile module, suitable for a wide variety of systems and can be installed with various carrier adapters from Okuma for different interfaces. It is especially suited for high-speed data acquisition systems requiring precise sample clock generation.
