The EBA-TEQ-706-A-10 is an electronic base board accessory produced by Vickers within the Vickers Accessories series. The module conditions displacement and command signals for proportional valve drives used in industrial automation systems. By consolidating test points, signal scaling and enable logic, it simplifies installation and troubleshooting of multi-channel hydraulic motion controls.
On the front edge, three connector rows identified as b, d, z provide segregated pin groups for power, command and feedback wiring. The board supports 4 current link pairs, allowing simultaneous routing of power and return conductors for each solenoid. Its two proportional outputs are organized as 2 drive channels, each gated by a local drive-enable switch that can disconnect the valve without removing system power. A fixed command signal attenuation of 1:10 divides an incoming reference so the downstream electronics receive a safe level. When operators require different control sources, the input mode jumper can be set to Selectable (INT/EXT), switching between the onboard command potentiometer and an external process signal.
The board maintains linear feedback by converting both main and pilot LVDT transducer currents to a normalized 4-20 mA stream, and it references those signals to a stabilized rail of ±10 V for consistent zero and span. A supply test point marked 24 V is provided to verify the incoming power line during commissioning. Physical layout is compact; the overall length is 350.0 mm, and 2 mm sockets allow probe access to every node. Separate ramp-enable and drive-enable switches permit staged motion, while the presence of the command potentiometer gives manual tuning capability without external equipment. Together these functions let maintenance staff adjust valve behavior quickly and restore production with minimal downtime.
